Winter Walk
Join us on this unique winter walk. This walk goes straight across the moor and visits 14 Dartmoor Crosses. We would walk from the eastern side of the moor and finish on the western side. The distance is estimated at about 14km but the last part of the trek is reasonably easy underfoot. It is intended to be a great day out taking in some of the more interesting locations about the moor. What a great way to burn off that Christmas and New Year excess.
To enjoy this walk you need to be just a regular walker who will be prepared to spend most of the day on the hill. Due to the linear nature of the route, we would park vehicles at the finish and be transported to the start.
